This is a copy paste from the site linked, it was from a quick google search:
What is a turbo timer?
A turbo timer allows you to leave your car idling without having to wait inside with the key in the ignition. The unit will allow your car to idle for a pre-set period of time enabling the turbo to cool-down.
there is only one guy i know of that has one of these installed in his ng900, and it is a T-5, with a broken factory alarm. In other words unless u r planning on getting rid of the factory alarm and replacing it, then i wouldnt even bother trying.
Not to mention a turbo timer on our cars is pointless.
I believe because it is a relatively small turbo, and that it does not spool up unless you really give it some gas. Basically I think you would need to floor it, fly down the street and then shut the car off in order for the turbo timer to be useful. At least this is my understanding in my n00b state.
