If you take a 9-3 spoiler off, is there holes in the hatch?

Is it held on with just tape?

Blast.

I'm not a fan of the spoiler.

The same stock one you have, sadly.

Eh, I wanna take it off, and put an "S" badge on the back of my car.

I'd leave the spoiler on, or find a Viggen spoiler.

The back end of the car gets squirrily above 100-110 mph, even with the stock spoiler adding a little downforce.

I drove with mine off for a week or so before I painted the replacement...Downforce is your friend.

They're close enough. The threaded studs on my Viggen spoiler just scraped the edges of the original spoiler holes, but it fits fine. I put a piece of electrical tape over the unused center hole to keep water out.

just leave it as it is.

Anyone that knows saabs knows that there was no 9-3 "S"
and anyone that doesn't know that.. could give two ****s what you have.

Actually, there is a 9-3S. It is indicated as such on my title.

New Jersey's most likely confused, then. I don't think that Saab ever officially called the base model an "S".
