Hi there,

I'm new to ownership of a SAAB 900 T16 Convertible from 1988 (although not to SAAB's having had a few)

I bought the car as a non runner and have had a great baptism of fire reading all your posts and thanks to you guys I've found the faulty turbo overboost switch.

I've looked on here and ebay and the internet but cant find a replacement.

Where on the planet can I get a new one please? (Can i get a new one, can mine be repaired?)

Sincere thanks for all the help and sorry to post on something like this i just cant see any references to it.

best

Ant

Thank you for that..

I've spent quite a bit of time looking and drawn a blank which is why I came here to get to expert advice!

Much appreciated.

I just had an overboot switch fail recently. I had not gotten around to bypassing it.... Car was crank no start after stalling after spirited gas pedal, thought id blown off a vac line but not the case. It ran on ether so moved on to... Bypass the boost switch by crossing the 2 brown and white wires at top left of ECU area on Passenger side of car and car fired right up.
