Hi guys i have been reading up on the form for a couple of months now and have fixed many of my issues through the communities help. But now i have a problem that has really stumped me L

I have a 1999 Saab 93s 2 door couple with 120k.

Last week i was driving my car and all of a sudden i heard was a large spooling of my air filter, and my car dramatically lost power and started sounding like a trucks turbo.

I quickly pulled over to find that my air filter (KnN) had somehow come off. So i quickly tightened it up so find that my car still is driving very slow and spooling very loud.

This didn’t fix the issue so I took off the KnN filter and hooked up the stock airbox this still didn’t rectify the problem. I have a feeling it could be a turbo leak because it sounds like a Jet but moves like a snail .

Any ideas of what the problem can be guys?

We do have quite the Aussie fowllowing, which is great.
Periodocially tightening and examining all of the turbo's plumbing is one of the many maintenance items. Maybe some new clamps or Orings are in order, there is a lot to this system.

Check your intercooler hoses

Cheers guys i jacked the saab up yesterday, and found one of the
intercooler hoses was lose. So now my little jet is going the way it's ment to be.
