My son just wrecked his 900 SE. The body is shot but the engine and transmission are fine. We've found a good car with a bad non-turbo engine. How hard would it be to put our turbo engine & parts in the non-turbo car? (We'd put in the turbo engine and transmission, exhaust, intercooler, etc.) Would the wiring and engine control work like plug 'n play? Or are we in for major adjustments and mods?

itsdef not plug and play. need to have all the wireing and ecu and a lot alot of work to get it done. its possible but way easier to just get another turbo saab and part out the wrecked one.

the turbo cars use Saab Trionic 5 engine management software and the NA cars use Bosch Motronic, so you would need an ecu and harness from the wrecked car, if possible, to swap into the new car.
