Appreciate anyone that can advise me on this. I’ve got an older SAAB that is rarely used so would like to use a trickle charger to keep the battery safe. My service station advised this route rather than disconnecting battery terminal as SAAB electrical systems are a bit finicky. Tried to use my Porsche trickle charger but it does not fit into the SAAB outlet. Does SAAB sell a trickle charger or is there an aftermarket source that can supply? Many thanks!

You should get a trickle charger that attaches directly to the battery with clamps. Don't try to use one that goes through the lighter, I'm not sure that circuit is even enabled when the car is off.
