I've been looking for a body-rot-free but otherwise dead 900 to transplant my internals into as my '88 900 T16 has significant rust issues. Can I safely assume that I can transplant about everything from one car to another without any fit issues?

Also, when I go to inspect these vehicles, where should I look for serious rust? I know that a few of them have "surface rust".

Thanks.

There has been quite a bit written about turbo vs. N/A transplants on the board. You'll want to get a water-cooled turbo car for your similar internals to make the fit-up easier (wiring, hoses, etc.). A different shell would probably fit, but would be more work.

Good luck!
