Ok I have a weird one. My transmission light came on a few weeks ago. I went and got the codes read. I watch the guy do it and I am familiar with the process of reading the codes. His reader said no codes stored.

Not sure what could be the problem. The car drives great! Pulls like a freight train! Don't you just love that surge! LOL I've had her 10 years now and I still love my Saab! I will take it by my trusted independent and let him take a look.

One thing to note is the battery died while parked in the garage. I charged the battery before taking it to the auto parts store to have the code read. Would that have anything to do with it not having any codes? You would think if the light is on a code would have to be stored. Will it hurt to keep driving it with the light on?
