Have a nice condition auto lower trans mount (subframe to tranny front edge) from my 2001 Aero to go onto my linear car. Ones available at Eeuro of all models Aero or Linear and all years have elongated holes so don't need to get tranny dead spot on, whereas my nice replacement (same five speed) is just a circle. I also cannot line that circle up, mount circle falls 1cm too short. Any ideas? Is it because vehicle is in ramps and use scissor jack to raise and lower the trans unit, but it goes up same time as subframe, whereas is it to use jacks at different points to manipulate the units to match?

answer to question is even though auto attached to subframe, with scissor jack under it, can manipulate the height and an in out - but must be on a flat surface, not an incline as I was. In mine, the subframe bolt hole hinges don't match horizontally and the mount rubber gets crooked, It is strange because hinges look dead straight, and there is no appearance of a fender bender.
