My new 9-3 is quite rusty. A big chunk of my ng900 has already been welded in on the right side but there are still rust holes on the left.
All of the rust started in the holes where the trim attaches and then just rotted out like mad.
I could cut out another piece from my ng900 but i've had my fill of welding and i don't want anymore of it.
That and the piece to be welded would be rather large and troublesome to fit.
So i think i might just clean the rust out and fiberglass the hole shut. This would give me the least deformation and painting, not to mention no straightening, grinding welds and filling.
