can anyone recommend a tire model for 17" wheels on a 9-3. I currently have toyo proxies 4 on mine and I have come to believe they are causing problems. They have needed contant rebalancing and the ride comfort is terrible (if it is indeed the tires causing it). At high speeds the footwel vibration is a constant annoyance, and I do get a bit of steering wheel wobble which may or may not be caused by the tires. I can probably get the tire place to give me a different set of tires as they also believe the proxies are causing my troubles. Any reccommendations? Perhaps a non-directional tire will help?

i got some goodyear eagle F1 GS D3's for christmas... very happy. excellent in the water. they are directional, but the ride is nice and smooth!

225/45/17 if you've got a coupe you shouldn't have any problems with rubbing...

I second the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S. They are really quiet, sticky and comfortable- not to mention cheap at Tirerack.com.

I have the Yokohama AVS ES100's 215/40WR17 which i replaced the Michelins with and so far im very impressed, great dry grip and a good price and a fantastic looking tread.
