I just got my alternator replaced and a new battery and now my radio wants a code to work. I have no idea where it could be? Where can i find the code? Thanks in advance

Whoa will I have to do this everytime? Could I call the dealership it originally came from? The car dealership that it came from is about 5 hours away. I don't want to spend any cash.

If you have a 900, just stop by the dealer and they'll look up the code for you. It's linked to the radio's serial number. Paying them to program it is only something you do on the 9-3. So long as you don't lose the code, you'll never have to see the dealer about it again. The car originally came with a blue credit card-sized card with the code printed on it, but most people seem to have lost theirs.

Whoa thanks Jeremy R.

I found it, it was right there in plain sight.

My friend looked through it and said he couldn't find the code and I never looked inside. Thanks

Chances are, if you were to have pulled the heat unit out, it would be written on the top of the unit in black marker .
