Yeah..

and people who say something about too much lag have never felt much more than 300bhp. Not kidding, it's definitely not something to complain about. You can't have your turbo show full boost at 2000rpm and then have 350++lb.ft.

LOL at too much lag. its a 600+bhp setup, going well above stock redline.

if i recall it was purpose built as a racecar for standing miles, its vigges project toy.
It was strictly an opinion of personal preference, not a cut on the car. The car sounds awesome!!! I’ve owned some high reving toys in my past including RX7’s built for the 1/8 and ¼’s and many growling v8’s. My “style” for a driver is to have it come in low and not rev. Our cars ARE awesome! Whether putting out 600+hp at higher revs or pushing over 300lb/ft wtq below 4K (mine). Regardless, when "purpose" built to suit ones needs and personal taste they are a marque that will surprise outsiders.
Vigge, JZW, Comtrag, Christian, Eric, Nick, and many more are pushing these cars to points that command that they be noticed. It is an awesome feeling to be part of the expierience regardless of what stage of tune our personal rides, disposable cash or taste take us!

That car is improperly strapped down. Theyre damn lucky things didnt go very very wrong.
seems the straps hold up!
Anyway, this is why Maptun use rottotest :cheesy:

At almost 8400 rpm's and over 600 hp I would hate to see that go flying off the dyno...death to a bad @#$ car quick! And maybe the shop tech too!

I've seen a few vids on youtube where the car comes free during pulls on a dyno, all got really lucky. It's hard to even think about straps when you hear that baby roar!!

IF its Vigges project, then I remember hearing that it had been in an Estonian one mile race, and if I remember correctly, it ran 299km/h
Another 9-5 did 305km/h(with a 200000(KM) stock gearbox) and a modified viper did 311.

That sounds familiar, I think one of the runs from last year. I think the plan was to go 200mph this time around, but I could be wrong..

The Estonia race was the second last of last year and the car trapped there 297km/h. In last race it did manage 308km/h for standing mile

Last year was last year and new toys to play with now and registy for the engine located even higher (planned for 6k-9k+ rpm)

If anyone wonders why the rpm registy is this high there is a simple answer, you cannot have it all, i.e. spool at 3k rpm and peak power at 8.5k rpm, since a small displacenment single tbo engine does roughly have 3k rpm span where it operates well. Also the lower the rpm span is located the higher the tq will need to be to make certain amount of power and there is a "limit" how much of it you can dig from a 2l and also how much of it the drivetrain can take.

In case you did not notice there are six straps holidng the car in place and it would not have "walked" even if 2-3 of them would have failed.....

You could have 600 and it wouldnt matter. Fact of the matter is that they are improperly placed for a vehicle of that power.

There is no frontal cross-strapping, and the tow hook is not a particularly sturdy piece.

Yeah, don't remind me.

I saw all the data you posted on TSL, looks good! I'd love to get EGT AND o2 but it seems like I'm limited to either/or with T5suite unless I pick up something else to do it externally.

In that video, sounds like you're still running sans bypass valve? I'm assuming the new Holset will take the beating just as well as the Super 40?
