well im driving to get my rear brakes done, new rotors and pads, and on my way to the shop...3rd gear slipped...my eyes popped out of my head and said WTF....so i went into 2nd...same think...back to 3rd and then 4th...slippage and 5th...more slipping....but the pedal had been very tight and has had a small vibration...so i thought mabye it was the cable tooo tight and it was keeping the clutch engaged....i losened it up...same thing...slipping clutch..so i went out and ordered the viggen kit from GS ...and tuesday my shop is installing it for 500 cash....not to bad ...800 for a new clutch installed..

thought id let out my days fustrations on here.....

Damn dude. Ya I've got a 2000 and plan on the clutch being replaced in the near future. Yours lasted 10 years... by many accounts thats a pretty long time. Not to mention the fact that if you had performance upgrades it was only straining the thing even more.

would anyone happen to know if the viggen clutch kit from GS...comes with the throw out bearing or release bearing??

Have them do your rear main seal, axle shaft seals and input selector shaft seal while its easy!
