So, I just bought a brand new queen size bed, and I no longer have the need for the memory foam pad, off the old full size bed I have, Do you guys think it would be possible to take the covers off my front seats and cut a section of the foam to fit into the backrest, I get bad back support out of my current seats and thought this might be a fun mod. What do you guys think?

Go for it. I'm not sure how much more you can fit in there, and the new foam might not be enough on its own. Take it to an upholstery shop and have it reupholstered over temperpedic side bolsters.

Dimitry goes over some upholstry things here:

he put a new cloth seat cover on his NG. Seems straightforward enough, if you have a littel sewing skills (or know somebody who does!)

I'm not sure if I would like that tempurpedic stuff in my car seat. It just seems it would compress and be too firm. Im not sure though, and hey, its your back, you know whats best for it! Maybe you could squeeze some in along with the stock foam.

I read an article on cars seats and bad backs recently and the main common problem was people who have incorrectly ajusted their seats...1 guy kept his wallet in his back pocket and by removing this when he sat down solved his back problem..:cheesy:
