I got a CEL light on my way to work this morn. The only thing strange I noticed was that my temp gauge was at full cold. I first thought it was a stuck open thermo, but....I got heat quickly as normal and the gauge never did move. Would bad temp sender cause a CEL if Trionic isn't receiving a signal that the car is up to temp?

Never mind, it looks like this is thermo related. I've never heard of a thermostat causing this but if it fixed it for the other guys, who am I to argue? Off to the parts store.

Exactly. And I left it up as an object lesson. Search first!:cheesy:

I still don't understand how the thermo can cause the guage to go dead but...in a couple of hrs we'll see!;)
