My hood needs a minor (i think) reprogram.
When im putting it down (ie going top "less") it catches on the rear head rests and sometimes gets stuck.
I would have thought a slight tweak would sort it.
Also, weirdly, the trailing edge of the hood rubs the hinges of the open lid that lifts up to allow it to be put away. I got the car at the end of last summer and this looks like a new thing. The garage was a bit dodgy so perhaps they did something to make it less baggy, or tried to sort out the first problem and caused this.
Im half tempted just to angle grind a mm or so off the hinge to give it clearance.
Finally, what is this Tech II software like?
Can i just get a copy from someone, buy the right connector and play with the settings?
Or are you gonna tell me its impossible to get hold of and fiendishly complicated.
Or maybe a few turns with a spanner might sort it? As you can probably tell Ive read just enough to really make a mess of things.
