youll still need to put in a CIM with a matching key. ive tried everything I could for someone without a key and theres no way around itAnyone near Pittsburgh, PA or Morgantown, WV have a tech II? I'm stuck in Deep Creek, MD with my buddies 07' 9-3 and his only key lost to the falls.
For the CIM , I think it goes 03-04 and then 05+. Keys, as long as theyre blank , work with any year. But to start just get a used cim with a matching key .Yes so ive read. Ill be ordering a used one. Are all 03-10 cims and keys compatible or do I need one from an 07?
1k? they are like 300 bucks.. ill gladly sell you mine for 500 dollars though!I have read through this whole post, and no one in Colorado has a tech2?? I wish I had the 1k to fork out for it.
Ahhh you didnt specify genuine or not..Where do you find them for 300? Every thing I have seen has been a knock off. And those are hit or miss.. Who sells quality tech2's for 300? Links? Thanks Jersey Collector.
Hey all, long time Saab owner here and need some Tech II help in AZ. Northern AZ to be exact. 2005 9-3 Aero has put me through the wringer with cim issue! Sent message to fellow in Phoenix so will see. In the meantime without reading 50 pages of Tech II clone post where would be the most reliable place to buy a clone? I would like to have one so can help others if they need it. Thanks all
if it already been married it needs to be SPSd.hey guys, I am in Bay Area California (south bay), and need some help re-programming an ECU, ok to pay...
I have a 2005 9-3 Arc convertible. The ECU died and I've bought a used one with the same serie number on ebay from a trusted seller. The car runs, but the engine light come up (knock sensor is not detected). I won't pass the smog test with that. The ebay seller said it needs to be programmed to fit my car model... but my current mechanic says he doesn't have the software/tool to do that.
If anyone have the tools, knowledge and willing to do it, please let me know. (I cannot send DM yet).
Where are you located? Yes im available for assistance. Are you still able to tune Saab ECUs? If so, I need help with programming a new ECU for my daughter's 2010 9-3
