very clean looks in good shape. but it must be off of a different car, the exhaust flange looks different, email him and ask what its from. the turbo off the viggen and later SEs is a TD04HL15T-5cm2

edit: that whole exhaust side is different, the wastegate is different, its a no go, hes not even showing you the product, thats a new one. crikey

Some good ones pop on ebay once in a while. Check your local junkyards. You can get lucky there and make out like a bandit. Also, just casually between users on this forum too.

The td04 is the easiest fitting of them all, and it is a 'bolt on,' however is not just bolt on the new one because of the lengths of the oil and coolant lines.

Yeah the td04 is probably easiest for the amount of gains you'd get. And so many people have done the swap, that good advice is readily available.

td04hl-15t/5cm2 came on 00-02 HOT 9-3's, 99-02 Viggens and I think the 9-5 Aero, but I'm not sure about that last one.

dude get the hell off of our forums, no one like this type of talk.

And guess what the SE version of the cars starting in 2000 came with that turbo. Just because you adding a larger turbo, does not mean you are increasing the boost....especially to 20 psi condidering the stock ecu can only go to 15.5 psi before fuel cutoff. Why dont you learn your ish before you start talking it.

Yes a larger turbo will flow more air hence capable of giving the same amount of power at a lower boost. but the size differnce between the T25 and the td04 15t-5cm2 is not so large as to cause problems on a stock ecu.

Now either change you attitude, or hopefully a moderator will come by and ban you.

New turbo eh without even an intake goooooooooood choice lets crank that boost up to 20 and blow that **** up to. u intelligent *******. why dont u worry about BPUS first :nono;
With every post, your cluelessness never fails to surprise me.

The intake isn't the issue, you penile implant, the fuel management is. Bigger injectors will work for a while, but you'll need to have the ECU's fuel mapping redone.

Come back when you learn something.

Oh man, now something to shoot for! I've gotta get the td04 in by then.... and order the ecu I guess. Do you know if this is going to be before SOC? I'm guessing he is making one trip out of it?

According to Paul at Automotion, Frank's coming in the week of the 8th and staying through SOC. So this could work out really well....
