If the TCS solenoids on the inner front wings were short circuited could this cause any other problems?
I was checking mine when I got a TCS warning lamp on the dash and managed to short accross the pins with a screwdriver;oops: while the car was running.
I haven't sorted the TCS out yet, but i'm a bit concerned in case I've fried something else and I'd just be wasting my time.
I'm abroad at the moment but I was hoping to get it running properly again when I got back.
The car runs in limphome mode but has now been sitting for a couple of months and i'm wondering if its going to be worth repairing as the MOT is due and the cam chain sounds like it needs replacing.
It doesn't owe me anything and its now got 140k on it but I hate to see a good car die.
