Maybe you can direct me.

Try ebay looking for plastic rivets. There are hundreds of types so you'll need to know the hole size if it doesn't state its Saab compatible. Otherwise a dealer as they may not be as expensive as you think, I just bought some plastic nuts from a dealer at 19p each.

You didn't need to remove the liner; all you have to do is remove the outer trunk handle the light is attached to that; that's why you can't get to it from the inside. The handle should be held on with 4 bolts; part # for the rivits is 92152036, eeuroparts.com


When removing, push the center in about an 1/8" and pull the whole thing out; to install remove the rivet install the holder then insert the rivet.
