Uhhh...

A few weeks ago, the car skidded off the road and crashed into a snowbank but miraculously made it though. The passenger side bumper was basically missing.

That got repaired, with only a 250 deductible.

Two days ago, the garage door closed while I was backing out. It ripped my sharkfin antenna off and left a dent...

Crap.

I have a red connector with four tongs and the tongs seem intact, it's still in the roof. I'm thinking about doing the heat/freeze method to try to get the dent out then just glue the sharkfin antenna back on.

My main question is that does the red connector comes out or is it part of the assembly where you have to unthread the nut to get it out. I've searched for threads, but couldn't find what I needed.

That's too bad...
Pictures would help to figure out how is the damage.
The only way to reattach the antenna properly is to remove the roof
lining. While you're at it, you can have a PDR guy work on the dent.

I say whole thing would close at +/-$150?.
AFAIK freeze/heat method has really low success rate.
