Based on what I'm reading most of the time the ignition switch module is the culprit. Have been getting this for about 6 months, getting worse now. Seeing the cost of ism around $100 was thinking of trying to either clean mine or buy a new one. The key fob won't need to be re-programmed for either correct? Does anyone have advise? Thanks for all your help!

Key doesn't need programming, take a good care if u decided to open up the ISM, don't touch the board as static electricity from ur body could destroy components and don't clean the board with anything.
