Hi

I am not sure if anyone already posted something similar but I am having problem with steering. I have 2007 Saab 9-3 with 120 000 km, I started hearing strange sound when turning wheel .When you turn steering wheel left/right on one spot ( middle ) there is soft "thump" sound. That sound was getting more laud until once I turned wheel completely to one side and then disappeared for some time, now is back and I have feeling that there is problem in steering rack assembly . Did anyone else had similar problem and what was solution? If this is rack assembly it is going to be.....costly .

Thanks
ps
Still love my Saab....

Check to make sure your front springs aren't broken. After that I'd guess strut bearings.
