Any tips or tricks on how to safely remove the steering column bearing? I can't get mine to budge. It is worn and has radial play. I'd like to know what the dimensions are so I might find a readily available replacement that's the same size or at least close enough I can print an adapter bushing.

I ripped out the old inner rubber bushing with a pick and then I was able pull the bearing out.

I ordered a sealed bearing that has the right thickness and ID as a replacement, 9 euros and international shipping for a Saab original was too much for me. The OD of the generic is 37mm instead of the factory 40mm. I'm going to print another bushing to compensate for the smaller OD. I should have a compete solution if it works.
