I have an 87 Saab 900t 16v I cant start the car and drive it several miles to a store. and get back in the car and the car will either
1) turn over and sputter to a start and if its flooded
2) Turn over and not start

I have had the distributor rebuilt ( I thought the hall sensor was the culprit. wiring was old and brittle).
Have new plugs, wires, cap ,rotor, battery and fuel filter.

I have cleaned the throttle and vacuum lines with Seafoam. This did help my idle issue.

Not sure what the problem could be.

Do you have a thread to the original issue that you can link us to?

I think it may be the AIC valve. It wouldn't start last night and I tapped on the AIC and the car started. Im going to clean it out and I read somewhere that you need to lubricate it. What grease would you use? WD40, lithium, or silicone?

Clean and lube...spray it out with carb cleaner until all the black eww is gone and then hit it after with wd40
