With the Petrol 95, does anyone else notice that it is far easier to start the car when the tank is full compared to when it is only a 1/4 full?

Does this indicate a problem with the fuel pump? or is it just the quirky nature of the Saab 95?

I don't have that problem but I always use 98.

A long time ago I noticed this problem, then went through a catalogue of parts being changed (under warranty thankfully)
We changed the CPS, changed the throttle body, DI, plugs etc etc, all seemed to help, and the problem went away.............

Some time later the problem returned along with some cutting out, we agreed that it was possible that the fuel pump was being cooled less due to the level of the fuel.........anyway we changed it and its never happened again :roll:

Maybe you could save expense by starting with that????

as mine is still under waranty, I will take it to the garage I bought it from and see what they say, but I must admit I dont have a lot of faith in their experiese sofar

They will probably think I am just neurotic :roll:
