Please help us solve this mystery! My 1998 Saab 900S Turbo stalls too frequently for me to drive it to work daily. Problem started nine months ago. Two different repair shops (one an indy specialist) have had their way with it since then, to no avail ($$$$). They have each told us they are stumped and don't want us to keep putting money into it. Here's a description of an "episode" seen on most trips on surface streets:

Loads of dashboard warning lights like "check engine" come on, accompanied by the turbo gauge acting like a high speed windshield wiper. This is the sign while driving that the car has been suddenly "possessed" and is about to die. Car sometimes jumps kinda violently before stalling. Usually restarts. There seems to be a correlation between the stalling and having restarted the car after making a stop (especially after refueling).
