Stainless equal-legnth 900/9000 headers group buy. $500

The gentleman who made these is willing to make a run of 900/9000 headers if there is interest in a group buy. These headers are for a Honda I think...

As you can see his work is quite nice, and the price is very reasonable.

There is a thread on saablink:

If this post violates any saabcentral T&C I aplogize.

I just checked out the saablink thread, and I'm interested. Keep us posted over here at SC!

To keep things simple, if you could, please join saablink and we can work from there.

I do not want to break any SC rules.

We have 3 people for c900 headers so far, and 2 for 9000.

I'd only be interested in an EWG one.

But not everybody needs em:

Talladega900 did back to back dyno runs with the stock manifold and jon's header, wasn't any substantial gain IIRC. Can't find the thread right now... but I believe he was at around 200whp.

is it not th case that you lose the "burble" with equal length exhasut manifolds?

for the gains likely to be realised, is it really worth the money/time/effort?

Depends on your goals G. If you're hitting the 250-270bhp line like some of us, the stock manifold becomes a restriction (supposedly). I think it would be worth it to some.

But I gotta say... adding a provision for an external wastegate is a must. You don't know how awesome EWGs are until you use one. It's a must for high HP turbo cars, especially when you get into stuff like clocking the turbo housing, where the stock actuator just plain fails.

Yes, These will be built with an EWG capability *and* block-off plate so it can be used either way.

For those of you interested, the TSL thread linked earlier is the place to be. Have paypal ready.

There is a paypal link in the TSL thread for the producer of the header.

Please pay sooner, rather than later.

He has been great about ordering tubing, and making flanges thus far, on his dime.

Thanks!

I should clarify...

There is a run of up to 10 of these headers being made. If you would still like to be in the first run, please make yourelf known!

This is still open to anyone. The first one is being produced as we "speak", and I will update as things develop.

If there are any questions, please PM me here or at TSL. I post under the name "Palmer" there.
