Take it to a dealer or SAAB indy and GET IT CHECKED!! If the SRS light is lit, you have a problem with the airbags - and you want to make sure they are operable when needed!

Could be something as simple as the old favourite, a faulty connector. The ones to the air bag underneath the dash are not of a high quality as they might be, and hence, the SRS warning can be set off by simple things, such as closing the driver's door slightly harder than usual.

Take Ted's advice and get it sorted, anyway. The airbags will NOT deploy in the event of an accident, while there is a warning.
