The Saab 9-5 had sat for about 3-4 days on so I topped the oil up and started it yesterday only to be greeted by a low muffled squealing. My guess is the Serpentine belt. Some oil or anti-freeze must have got onto it... Or its just worn. Anyways I'm gonna take it to the garage soon to get it replaced. I did go driving in it though and I had to stop on an up hill. I got the biting point and the revs went up to 2,300RPM. I opened the window a little and the squeaking had got higher pitched and was making quite a racket! Cut a long story short I got shopping, went by my friends then got home. I'll book it in later today! 160,622 Miles and only a little serpentine squeak ? Pretty good I would say :)
