I've had the car in the shop about 10 times in just 2500 miles for squeaks and rattle fixes. Everytime they basically use felt pads and double sided tape. I found a couple of more squeaks but am too embarassed to bring it in again so I'd like to take care of them myself. The two sources now include the centre gearstick area wood trim and the inside door pull handles. Can anyone tell me how to remove the wood trim so I can put felt tape underneath. In addition, how do I take the door pulls apart or is there a something I can put between the door arm seams so there is less give and ultimately less creaking.

You can pry the door handle covers off CAREFULLY with a flat head screwdriver. They are snapped on, but can't easily be pulled off with bare hands. Start underneath and towards the front of the car. Once off, there are 2 torx head screws in the handles to remove if you want to remove the door panel. If you want to go any further, post a reply and I or others will walk you through it.
