Looking at the 2.5" sport cat-back systems available for the 93ss, I was curious which one was more quiet?

I would like a nice low rumble, but nothing so loud that it increases cabin noise alot.

Any suggestions?

if I were a betting man, I'd say changing out the silencer by using the SAAB factory upgrade parts is the way to go if you want to keep the noise down. Otherwise, you're looking at replacing the resonator.


I have the BSR cat back system (as well as their 3" downpipe and hi flow cats). I do not notice much of a difference during daily driving, but if the engine is under load it is slightly louder.

Good enough for me. I expect to hear some of the noise from the exhaust system, I just didnt want that noise to dominate inside the cabin during routine driving. Sounds like it wont!

I think my magnaflow would make you throw up. The BSR one was not stainless steel was it? I would go Nordic!
