Newbe; so please cut me some slack.

I have read 5-10 threads on speakers etc and I could not find finite answers to my question.

I see six spots that speakers go into my Saab (1999 SE Convertible)

What is the detail breakdown of sizes and location?

I am looking into an AMP and speaker replacement process.

I have seen lots on brands & models...

The factory speakers are very low quality speakers so they are well worth replacing.

Rotate, did you really mean 6.5 for the rear? Aren't they a weird oval size, like 6x9 or something? When i did mine, i wound up just putting in some that fit the space with a little gap since the true size is hard to find here. Mine's a 94, so apologies if 6.5 is correct for later years. Sorry I can't remember the real size of my rears. www.Crutchfield.com has a good size finder if you haven't used it yet.

6.5" is correct for the convertible and 6x9 is correct for the hatchbacks.
