Is there any type of sparkplugs out there that would enhance performance for SAAB 9-5 2.3lt, auto?

My mechanic said no! I want to get a second opinion. If there is not, what sparkplug do you guys recommend to use in my vehicle to keep it running healthy.

Use these:

NGK Spark Plug 9-5 1998 on NGK BCPR7ES-11

Only ever use NGK resistor plugs as above or you will fry the ignition module :nono;
