I had BCPR6ES-11 spark plugs fitted to my 04 95 aero as standard.

I then changed to BCPR7ES-11 after Maptun stage 3 because this is what they recommended. The saab dealership (no connection with Maptun or my installer) however said that I would maybe have trouble starting my car on cold mornings with the 7ES plugs.

He was correct !!

Twice now I have left my car outside over night (not that cold) and it struggled to start next morning.

Cannot understand why and especially given these plugs are commonly sold / used and recommended by Maptun in Sweden where climates are colder.

anybody had any similar experiences?

If you have an aero the stock plugs were NGK PFR6H-10's (aka Laser Platinum), not sure why you had 6ES' in there at all.

Maybe they were the plugs that you suggest, thinking about it. I will have to check in garage

I too get that same problem with my car its real weird, though i have alot more mods, i do not have software however, strange that u r noticing the same thing.

i am actually going to go swap in some 6es plugs right now jus tto see if it makes the car run better tomorrow.
