At 200k, your blinker fluid will almost certainly be past its sell-by date. Make sure you replace it right away, as it's a safety item.

Expected failure & wear items at 200K point:
  • Fuel pump - if yours made it this far
  • Rear shocks - these seem to last only 100K miles, time for your third set
  • Front Struts - somewhere past 200K these will need replacement
  • Timing chain - listen for the metallic noise at high RPM's, or better yet, check for a stretched chain using the chain tensioner

hmmm, ok

I will go to the selling dealership that sold it to me ( 1 owner for 200k!!!!!) and look up the records for the pump.

I have a new set of bilsteins for the rear sitting in my house

fronts seem fine and arent leaking

timing chain, huh? will do... no weird noises though, Iwill check the history!

Which engine do you have? The 4cyl has a timing chain which at 200k would definitely need inspecting at least, while the v6 has a timing belt which should be changed at 60k mi intervals.

Without knowing what's been done before, the easy answer is everything.

If the car is new to you, then get an experienced tech to give it a look over, get all the basic servicing done too.

If its the 4cyl, get the sump off and cleaned too ;)

Well it was serviced from day one at the local saab dealership...

I had it up on my lift at my dealership before we bought it, hmm
