Hi guys,

Anyone got advice on how to remove the starter in a III?
I have the nuts off but it seems to keep getting hung up somewhere and it wont slide forward enough. Like there is not enough forward clearance?

Is there a trick?

It was a big ole Bosch, only way out was to remove the whole engine mount bracket(!!)

It it huge, I was surprised given how small the engine is. I had sourced a much smaller, yet higher torque, one but don’t remember who made it off hand.

Got a new lighter one from V4sales on ebay works great but sounds like a honda.
