Hello everybody,
I changed the cabin filter yesterday.
I put a new one in, then took it out to re-fit it.
When I took it out I noticed some green liquid on the top side (on the seal).
Do you know what is this?
Looks like coolant, but a little bit thicker than that (see picture).
Thank you,
Sergey

initially the filter was clean
this green oil came from inside.
I'll try to dig in and see what's up
Thanks!

Added later:
I tried to check. It is not clear where it comes from.
From above the filter.
I looked at the picture EPC provides - where would the green stuff come out?

Hello everybody,
I looked today at this problem once again.
First of all this green stuff looks like a diagnostics dye!
Kind of acid yellow green color (picture).
Also I found that it was probably the pipe right above the filter that was leaking (pictures). I did not strip the insulation all the way -afraid that something will start pouring.
Is it heater core pipe? What's inside?
The A/C does not blow as cold as it used to.
What do I use to patch the leak?
Thank you,
Sergey

BTW, the guy at saab repair facility, where previous owner had the car serviced, told me that it does look like a dye that they use.
However, they don't have detailed records (or just don't want to provide them to me). So it's not 100%
