Can anyone with experience tell me how well the Nav works?

Is it easy to input destinations?

Does it automatically re-route your path if you miss a turn?

Does it speak the names of streets?

Does it take you accurately to a specific address?

Are the turn-by-turn instructions clear?

Can you get real-time traffic updates via the XM radio?

Anything you can tell me will be greatly appreciated!

Are you talkin' built in units, or units like Garmin or TomTom? Streets are spoken back if you purchase ones with TTS functionality.

YOU CAN INPUT BY TOUCHING THE SCREEN AND ENTERING AN ADDRESS, OR BY ZOOMING AROUND AND THE MAP AND TOUCHING THE SPOT YOU WISH TO GO TO.

Does it automatically re-route your path if you miss a turn? - YES
OCCASIONALLY AT FIRST IT TELLS YOU TO TURN AROUND, BUT THEN IT REALIZES THAT YOU ARE GOING A DIFFERENT WAY AND REROUTES YOU.

Does it speak the names of streets? - I DO NOT THINK SO.
IT WILL DO CERTAIN ROUTE NUMBERS, BUT i DO NOT THINK IS SAYS "MAPLE STREET" i WILL HAVE TO LISTEN WHEN CAR GETS OUT OF THE SHOP

Does it take you accurately to a specific address? - YES
IT IS DEAD ON.

Are the turn-by-turn instructions clear? EXTREMELY CLEAR

Can you get real-time traffic updates via the XM radio? - I DO NOT KNOW,
I USE SIRIUS

Anything you can tell me will be greatly appreciated!
THE TOUCH SCREEN IS LARGE AND EASY TO READ.
YOU CAN NOT ENTER ADDRESS WHILE MOVING.
$$, BUT
NICE SYSTEM.
I AM GLAD I GOT IT

Thanks for the info!

Any other comments? Something someone really likes or dislikes?

For example, I dislike the restriction on entering destinations while driving; my wife and I frequently modify our destination while cruising along in our Volvo... i.e., this Mexican restaurant or that Sports bar. No danger is created as the passenger does all the navigation programming. BUT, talk about silly... the Volvo has to be entered with a little remote control unit that works just like a VCR or TV remote.

no input while moving is a definete safety feature.

my wife's honda does not have that feature, and I find myself even when driving trying to Enter data. NOT safe, so maybe it is a good thing to have.

you will see dislikes in this forum such as:
outdated map info - 2-3 years old.
not detailed enough - no street names in certain locations and on the smaller streets.
