Haha I said the same thing and asked are they sure bc its suppose to be on the driver side and he said "Yes I am sure, you can se the harness going that way"...So I will report once I check :)
I can report now: siren is in left.

Yea I just checked there is no siren in the passenger wheel well. So I guess like Mimmi said I dont have that option. Not sure what to do now since Cadillac Dealership didn't know that, I need to find another place to take it I guess. But why would they offer to replace it for $700..

Because they are clueless...I would tell them to go ahead with the job just for the fun of it.

If your concern is the "theft protection failure" message why not just get it deleted with a TECH2?

I would gladly delete it with the TECH ll but I dont have one and dont want to pay $100 someone else to remove the message (If I dont have to)

Its the same SID I had in it for years, but message just recently popped up.

Maybe I can call them and see if they can remove the message.

My independent garage charges $50.00 and usually does a few things if I want not just one change.

Maybe shop around?
