Apologies for posting problems that I'm sure have been answered, but I'm using an iPhone to post/read. My parents are replacing their internet provider, and I'm here to supervise....

I have a 2005 Saab 9-5 Aero.Automatic Tranny with useless manual shifting paddles. A few weeks ago, my backup lights, cruise control, parking sensors all failed - or starting acting weird.
The cruise control light comes on when I activate it, but there is no cruise control.
My back-up lights stopped working.

The parking sensor works - all the time. Forward, reversing, at speed, etc.
All fuses and relays check out, and I'm at a loss.
Can these problems be connected?
Once these are fixed, I have other problems to figure out (passenger seat heat heater too hot, funny surges under acceleration, hard to start when cold) but I'll have internet access in a few days. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

if there are so many problems that seemed to appear at the same time or close to it, i'd swap out your battery with a known good one and see what happens. these cars are sensitive to voltage and a weak battery can cause all sorts of fun things.
good luck
