My wife hit a construction cone and it banged up the passenger side mirror. The mirror itself is smashed and the circular mount is damaged too (the one with the positioning rods that feed into the servos).

It seems that replacing the mirror is quite simple. Does anyone know how I'd go about replacing the circular insert. I purchased a whole mirror assembly from a junk yard and am going to canibalize the pieces.

I think the part I'm having a problem is understanding how the small white positioning rods (for lack of a better term) fit into the servo in such a way that they still move properly. I can jam them in there, but the mirror doesn't seem to have much play in it.

Any suggestions???
