My car has started shuddering at the steering wheel during moderate braking from speed (50 MPH up).


definitely NOT the ABS system. (no shuddering through pedal)

doesn't occur during light braking, so it doesn't seem like a warped rotor

I've scheduled with service, but was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem.

My car has been doing the same thing, it doesn't do it all the time, but when it does you're like "WTF?" I'm replacing my front brakes and rotors soon, I'll let you know if that fixes it.
