I have recently bought a brand new shark fin aerial ( pretty cheap of ebay ) for my 2005 convertible part no 12762121, it has one electrical connector which is a purpley red colour. When i was going to swop my old aerial for the new one i found that the old one has two electical connectors one purpley red and a blue one with the part no 12712000. Anyhow i am wondering if any of you guy's know why the convertible has two electrical connector's and what does the blue connector do.
I have a feeling that the shark fin aerial ( part no 12762121 ) is for a sport saloon.

no all antennas are for the same purpose.
the one purpley red connector is for the telephone option and the twin connectors, the blue on is for navigation option.

Thanks for the reply, my car does have navigation so it would appear that the aerial i have bought is of no use to me. Oh well i think i will put it back on ebay.:)
