Seatbelt wont retract

You probably have a bad retractor. There is a recall for this particular issue however when I contacted GM about mine they told me they can only fix it at a dual saab GM dealership and the closest one was about 5 hours away. GM is honoring saab recalls for the years they owned the brand. The folks at GM also told me that I could pay for the repair myself at a repair shop nearby that they recognize. I ended up just purchasing a new seatbelt online and replacing it myself (relatively easy) instead of risking paying a shop to do it and not being able to get reimbursed. Hope this helps.

disconnect the battery, leave for 15-20min for the airbag system to de-energize..

don't forget to make sure everthing is connected back up properly otherwise you'll trigger the airbag warning light which doesn't reset on it's own,has to be manually reset via tech2 or similar..
