How does one remove the front passenger and back seat in a '99 9-3 4-door hatchback?

I'm doing some moving this weekend, and I could use the extra room.

Thanks,

Tom

Front seat has 4 torx bolts that hold the seat to the floor, a couple wiring connectors and the seat belt. Lifts right out after that. As soon as you start the car, you'll get an SRS fault from the missing air bag that went out the door with the seat. The light will re-set itself once the seat is back in correctly and you've started the car a dozen or so times.

The bottoms of the rear seats fold forward from the back. Pop the circlips off the pivot pins and then pull the pins. If you've got heated rear seats, unplug those and the seat bottoms are free.

With the rear seat bottoms out, you can get to the lower pivot bolts and seat belt bolts for the rear seat back.

Notes:

I think you can avoid the SRS fault if you disconnect the battery before removing the seat.

If it gets set off, it may be more like 20 - 30 drives before it resets.
