I removed the seats as my air con drain lines were clogged as well as my roof drains and I had water inside. Forgot to disconnect the battery when I disconnected the seat harness.
Air bag light came on when everything was dried out and put back together. After research on here many people said it needed a tech 2 to reset the light. There were a couple of posts that said it would reset on its own after about a week based on drive cycles.
Do not waste your money on taking it in to get reset if you make the same dumb mistake I did and do not disconnect the battery. The Air Bag light WILL reset itself after about a week of driving. I maximized the number of drive cycles by shutting the car down and restarting whenever I would be stopped at a light for any meaningful amount of time.
