SAAB USA's decision to sponsor the TONY theatre awards in New York has paid off handsomely even here in little 'ole UK - this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see on BBC the stars being interviewed against a backdrop of SAAB logos! Probably higher than usual interest in the UK due to Eric Idle's Pythoneque 'Spamolot' winning the award for Best Musical!

It's good to see SAAB associating itself unusually prolifically with these events as they serve to place SAAB in the centre of modern life, not just in the niche aspect like Salomon etc.:cheesy:

at the beginning of the show, it was the first time i saw the "state of independence" commercial--with the 9-3 convert "breaking out" in the parking garage, in a "sea" of faceless, common cars.

it put a smile on my face.
