I think that the '94-'97 NG900s only have one motor, and it drives the mechanism via gears; no hydraulics until a little later... Ron

Is the the GM tech II tool the same as a Saab Tech II tool?
I have a 1995 900 se. The top doesn't work. Now what I want to know is if I hook the car up to a tech II tool will it be able to tell me EXACTLY which motor is f-ed up, or what I need to fix. I just need a yes or no on both questions. Thanks for the help.
